This build will form the basis of the 1.19 update, which we plan to release under net7 only. Apart from the copius amount of changes required to make the game work under net7 this build also contains a wide range of optimizations to improve game server performance. We'll be releasing net7 builds at an irregular schedule, with the primary goal being to mature the code behind it.
net7 builds should be network compatible with the net4 versions, in other words, a net4 client should be able to play just fine on a net7 server.
As a reminder, .net is the software framework we use to create the game, and its latest incarnation, .net7, brings wide ranging performance optimizations that we are looking to capitalize on.
